South London Gallery

Over the past decade the South London Gallery has developed its capacity to produce occasional limited edition publications to accompany its groundbreaking exhibitions, live art, film and education programmes. Catalogues have accompanied solo exhibitions by artists such as Mark Dion, Tom Friedman, Ryan Gander, Gabriel Kuri and Rivane Neuenschwander. So far in 2012, catalogues have been published for Stephen Willats, Alice Channer and Edward Thomasson’s shows. The SLG’s award-winning education project Making Play is documented in The Cat Came as a Tomato.  In recent years, the SLG has also begun to produce limited edition prints, including those by Sam Porritt, Paul Morrison, Dan Perjovschi and Charles Atlas and Mika Tajima. Following the building’s expansion in June 2010, a bookshop opened to offer a curated selection of contemporary art books, magazines and catalogues, as well as music, postcards, artist editions, children’s books and gifts.
